The TOEFL is a multiple-choice paper measuring one's proficiency in English, and is a required entrance test at universities around the world including those in US, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore. The TOEFLŪ is taken by applicants to any level of education, whether undergraduate, masters or even doctorate programs.

Test Fees
The fees for TOEFLŪ taken in India are $ 130. The fees can be paid by a dollar draft or by an International Credit card and are payable to "ETS-TOEFL"
When you give the test for TOEFLŪ, you have the opportunity to send your scores to any 4 schools of your choice - Free of Charge. At the back of your hall ticket enter the code number of the school of your choice. You will find these codes in your TOEFLŪ bulletin.

Test Scores
The TOEFLŪ is scored out of 300 points and the essay section is scored on a scale of 0-6. The test scores are valid for 2 years.
For the computer-based test, you will receive three section scaled scores:

If you type your response to the essay on the computer - your score report will be mailed to you in about two weeks after you complete the test and if you handwrite your response -your scores will be mailed in about four weeks after the test.
